A compelling documentary produced by Abu Dhabi Media Company and directed by Bushra Al Sharifi which follows 60 young Emiratis as they spend the summer working in the world’s most sophisticated semiconductor fab at GLOBALFOUNDRIES.
The documentary, titled “Etching a Brighter Path,” will begin showing on three channels: National Geographic, Al Emaarat and Al Oula, over the weekend of October 21- 24. The 60 students are part of the elite “Al Nokhba” internship program, conducted in Dresden, Germany, in a high-tech manufacturing plant operated by GLOBALFOUNDRIES and owned by the Advanced Technology Investment Company of Abu Dhabi.
Showcasing the enthusiasm of the students involved in the industry, the documentary aims to educate and build understanding among audiences in Abu Dhabi of the strategic importance of the advanced technology sector in the Emirate’s future vision.
